If a crypto’s Proof Of Stake system constitutes riba, is it completely haram to invest and trade in it?

From my research, I find that PoS and understanding riba is the main complicated issue we come across.

Related to this issue, what if there is some randomness involved in deciding who is allowed to mint the next coin/token in a PoS system?

I would appreciate it if you could consider giving some guidance on this issue in your courses/resources you produce in future.
